We Are Hiring! Two Legal Researchers in AI Regulation

The Chair on the Legal and Regulatory Implications of Artificial Intelligence is recruiting two legal researchers to join our dynamic team within the MIAI (Multidisciplinary Institute in Artificial Intelligence) at the University Grenoble Alpes.

Who Are We?

At the forefront of current challenges, our Chair aims to find the right balance between regulation and innovation in artificial intelligence. We assess the relevance and effectiveness of existing tools (such as the GDPR) and actively participate in the debate on developing new rules at both national and EU levels, including the implementation of the EU AI Act. Additionally, we engage in international discussions on AI governance in collaboration with think tanks and international organizations. The AI-Regulation Chair is invited each year to present its research in all the most important legal events on AI, such as our recent panels organised in CPDP 2024IAPP AI Governance Global, or the Privacy Symposium

Our Chair is actively involved in cutting-edge research on topics like the regulation of generative AI and facial recognition.

With the MIAI project, selected under France 2030 with a budget of 70 million euros, we aim to create an international reference institute on generative, interactive, and embedded AI, focusing on human and environmental well-being.
