The Chair AI Regulation (MIAI) shares the two first interim notes published on the 25 June and the 2 October 2024 by the French and independent think tank, Renaissance Numérique (ReNum). The interim notes are based on the discussions held during the AI Dialogues, launched by Renaissance Numerique on 5 April, to which the Chair AI Regulation (MIAI) contributes as an academic partner. A three-day series bringing together European and international experts to discuss on how to establish an international governance to ensure the responsible and ethical use of generative AI.
The 3 days were structured as follows:
Dialogue #1 – 26 April 2024 – Is an international AI governance achievable?
Dialogue #2 – 27 June 2024 – The multiple actors of international AI governance
Dialogue #3 – 10 October 2024 – What is the citizen’s role in the global governance of AI?
A third interim note is expected to be published by Renaissance Numérique, as the last series of the AI Dialogues – What is the citizen’s role in the global governance of AI ? – is about to take place in Paris on 10 October 2024.
