
Uses of AI: Social, Environmental and Organisational Issues – The EU AI Act (FR)
The Chair recently presented the EU AI Act to professionals as part of the training course “Uses of AI : Social, Environmental, and Organizational challenges” organised by Grenoble INP.
During this presentation, Shadée Pinto, research engineer at the Chair, reviewed the basics of the EU AI regulation and discussed the challenges of its application and the perspectives for international AI regulation.
The presentation gave an overview of:
- The EU AI Act (definition, risk classification, obligations, and penalties) and its application
- EU action on digital technology
- International dynamics in AI governance and regulation
In addition to its research work, the Chair delivers presentations to students and professionals to train and inform them about developments in AI regulation and governance.
