On  March 15, 2026, Shadée Pinto, research engineer at the RAIDAC+ Chair, gave a presentation at the Université Inter-Âge du Dauphiné in Grenoble on the regulation of artificial intelligence at national, European and international levels.

This presentation was part of a series of lectures organised by the Université Inter-Âge du Dauphiné in partnership with the Multidisciplinary Institute in Artificial Intelligence (MIAI Cluster IA) on the theme of Modern AI. It concluded the series by presenting to participants how the regulation of artificial intelligence is developed and implemented at different levels.

The presentation focused on the current state of AI regulation in France and within the European Union, with a particular emphasis on the European Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act). In order to contextualise these developments globally, various regulatory approaches and governance mechanisms were examined drawing on examples from countries such as the United States, China and Japan, as well as regional and international organisations such as the OECD and the United Nations.
