GPAI CoP Roundtable (Brussels, BE)

The Chair of AI Regulation is pleased to announce that Cornelia Kutterer, our senior researcher and independent expert to the GPAI CoP, will moderate the upcoming European AI RoundtablePrP organized by Computer & Communications Industry Association (CCIA) on 16th October. The event will focus on ‘The AI Act Code of Practice for General-Purpose AI Models’.

Legal experts Yann Padova and Sebastian Thess will present their study on ‘The AIA Code of Practice – Opportunities & Challenges‘. Ahead of the first AI model provider workshop on 23rd October, panelists and participants, from industry, civil society and governments will explain what a successful GPAI CoP will look like.

The event, limited to 25 table participants and select observers, will be held under Chatham House rules. It will provide a timely opportunity for open discussion on the regulation of general-purpose AI models and pressing issues surrounding the forthcoming AI Act Code of Practice. The event is followed by a press briefing to share outcomes of the  discussion.
