Data Transfer Summit, Washington DC

On 29 February 2023, the Data Transfer Initiative DTI will host such a collection of experts and stakeholders at the Data Transfer Summit – Empowerment through Portability in Washington DC. The daylong summit will convene expert panels of academics, civil society, and industry on the difficult policy questions surrounding the future of data portability. The event will combine cutting edge research with practical considerations of implementation, surfacing both the challenges and the immense opportunities that lie ahead. The Data Transfer Summit will feature speakers from leading organizations including NTIA, Google, Meta, Public Knowledge, Center for Democracy & Technology, and more. Our Senior Research Fellow Cornelia Kutterer will discuss data portability in the era of autonomous AI agents.
