AI framework, draft of the European legislative proposal – AI insights

General presentation of the issues at stake in European legislative proposal to harmonize the rules concerning AI with the following key points:

• the European Commission’s approach;
• the different risk categories of the draft regulation;
• and more generally the challenges of artificial intelligence in the light of the future European framework for startups.

This presentation will be followed by the study of a concrete case of an AI project, led by Nicolas Maurey for IVèS with the expertise of Maeva El Bouchikhi from the AI Regulation Chair, which will allow to understand the demands expressed in French Sign Language.
