The recording of the conference ‘My Chatbot, My Confidant? Protecting User Privacy in Generative AI Conversations’, held during the CPDP 2026 Conference, is available on YouTube!

This 75-minute talk provided an opportunity to address four questions: 

  1. The adequacy of the GDPR for intimate conversations with chatbots ;
  2. The disclosure of documents and chatbot logs ;
  3. The proactive disclosure and the issue of perverse incentives ;
  4. Privacy by design, and what companies have done.
