AI-Regulation Chair Submits Contribution to the EU AI White Paper Consultation

AI Regulation Chair Researchers have prepared and submitted a detailed contribution to the European Commission’s consultation on the AI White Paper.

The European Commission published its White Paper on Artificial Intelligence – A European approach to excellence and trust in February 2020 and asked for feedback from the academia, public administrations, industry and civil society.

In our submission we answer to the Commission’s questionnaire and further discuss preferred options and ideas for AI laws in Europe.

The Chair’s submission to the European Commission has been drafted by Professors Theodore Christakis and Karine Bannelier with the contribution of the four research fellows of the Chair: Mathias Becuywe, Stephanie Beltran Gautron, Maéva El Bouchikhi and Katia Bouslimani. The authors would like to thank all the members of the MIAI (Grenoble Alpes) for their input and comments during the preparation of this contribution.
