Shadée Pinto, research engineer within the Chair will host a debate entitled “The future of AI: what regulation is needed, and what role should citizens play?” within the Université Inter-Âges du Dauphiné (UIAD) on 26 November 2026.

Following an overview of the current state and prospects of AI regulation and governance, participants will be invited to discuss three questions:

  1. What risks concern you most, as citizens and users, and
what do you expect from AI regulation?
  2. What challenges do legislators face, and who should
    be responsible for regulation?
  3. What role should citizens play, and what responsibilities do businesses have?

The session will be held in French.
