Professor Théodore Christakis delivered a keynote presentation during an engaging roundtable discussion entitled “A Blueprint for Trusted AI in Health”. The roundtable was organised by the Centre for Information Policy Leadership (CIPL) as part of the Privacy Symposium which took place in Venice from 20 to 24 April 2026.
The keynote presentation addressed « The Health AI Agent Rush », in connection with his recently published article on the matter “The Health AI Agent Rush : Five Companies, Your Health Data, and the Governance Questions Nobody is Asking“.
The keynote was followed by a broader discussion on the reality of AI use in healthcare today, the reasons blocking adoption and responsible scaling, and on what would a workable European path forward look like.
