CCIA – European AI Roundtable (Brussels, BE)
On December 4th, Professor Theodore Christakis, Director of the Chair, along with Cornelia Kutterer, Adjunct Senior Research Fellow participated in a roundtable organized by CCIA Europe as part of the European AIRoundtable series. The event, titled “The Intersection of AI and Privacy: Shaping Europe’s Digital Future,” brought together experts to discuss the challenges and opportunities at the intersection of artificial intelligence and privacy regulations in Europe.
During the session, Professor Christakis presented his latest work, “AI Hallucinations and Data Subject Rights under the GDPR: Regulatory Perspectives and Industry Responses.” His presentation addressed the regulatory challenges posed by AI hallucinations and their implications for data subject rights, offering perspectives on how these issues can be managed effectively by regulators, policymakers and industry leaders.
