Closed Seminar on Artificial Intelligence Development and Regulation in Europe

AI-Regulation Chair co-organizes, with Renaissance Numérique and Facebook, a by-invitation-only seminar to discuss the European Commission’s AI Regulation Proposal.

This High-Level workshop will focus on two questions : Is the Proposal fit for purpose? Is it compatible with concrete applications?

The seminar is divided into two roundtables:

The first deals with Legal standpoint and how to build a framework of trust and innovation around use cases that cannot be anticipated. Particular emphasis will be given to the issues of Definitions and Governance Framework.

The second roundtable will focus on Practical standpoint in the view to integrate the respect for ethical principles and fundamental rights and freedoms by design. Impact Assessement and Regulatory Sandboxes will be the core concepts of this discussion.
