UACES 2023 Annual Conference, Northern Ireland

On September 3-6, 2023 the Annual Conference of the University Association for Contemporary European Studies ((UACES) took place in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Our research fellow, Theodoros Karathanasis, participated to the virtual panel 301 ‘The EU as a Value Driven Actor’ that was held on September 11th, 2023, with the presentation of its paper on ‘EU’s Artificial Intelligence Act and International Standardization: EU’s External Regulatory Effectiveness at Stake ?’ and the participation of Simona Vaškevičiūtė from the Vilnius University, Evgeny Romanovskiy, from Charles University and Régis Dandoy from Universidad San Francisco de Quito. The panel was moderated by Sebastian Steingass, College of Europe in Natolin.
